The scuba diving here is wonderful because the seawater is warm and clear. From our dive boat you can see the coral on the dive site 60 feet below. The water temperatures run from 77F / 25C to 86F / 30C depending on the time of year.

Equipment rentals
Our gear rental program is streamlined and elegant. We simply do not rent gear. We LOAN you whatever you need. BCD, reg, mask, fins... yours to use absolutely free while diving with us. Our loaner equipment is replaced every year -18 months and is maintained regularly. We use only top of the line equipment for our dive friends. Sherwood, Genesis, U.S. Diver. All at no charge, ever. Part of the Wet Set difference.
Beginner and student Divers
We offer an incredible amount of marine life on very shallow reefs along the second longest barrier reef system in the world. Maximum depths on these dives is 45 feet. We feature 6 different shallow sites perfect for the young diver.
Cabezas Grande is one of our first stop training sites. The deepest section is only 30 feet deep with 30 foot coral heads that extend from the bottom to just below the surface. This is also an incredible night dive with lobster, cuttlefish, toad fish, octopus and squid as the primary marine stars. On a full moon it is common to see large basket stars open in full bloom. Come watch brain coral and anemones feed on small life.
Rodman's Reef is a great 27 foot maximum depth dive with huge amounts of grunts and an unbelievable amount of soft and hard corals. Want lots of bottom time and plenty of sunlight penetration for you camera? This is a great photo dive in calm weather.
Canales is a tongue and groove reef that features lots of holes with moray eels, lobsters and huge Caribbean Crab. 38 feet and a great off gas second dive or training dive.
Marina Reef is 27 feet deep and loaded with blue tangs and other surgeon fish. There are often big schools of Atlantic spadefish schooling, feeding on the silversides. Two nice swim throughs loaded with snapper helps you keep your buoyancy in check.
Albert's Reef and Ledges Dos are two of our most popular shallow dives at around 45 feet or less. These are photographer dives. Incredible schools of fish everywhere. Color abounds so be sure you bring that camera. When dolphin are playing, we often see them at Ledges Dos. Underwater. What an experience.
Intermediate and Advanced Dives
C 56...The best wreck dive in Mexico sits just off our dive shop about 15 minutes. The C 56 is a placed U.S. Coast Guard WWII Cutter/Mine Sweeper surplus boat sold to Mexico to be used as a passenger ferry along with her three sisters. We are very fortunate to have this perfectly positioned ship to dive on as part of the Mexico artificial reef emplacement, here in Puerto Morelos. All decks are fully penetrable. Eagle rays and sting rays are abundant and schools of tuna are always hanging around the stern. Huge groups of horse eyed jacks, barracuda and snapper are everywhere. Lobsters, moray eels, hatchet fish and more await you when you enter her interior. You are going to love this dive.
Tortuga Turn, Tortuga South and Tortuga North are incredible deep fast water drift dives. Max depth 106 feet. Come fly with us as we soar underwater for the chance to pet, yes pet, 12-14 foot nurse sharks, lemon sharks. Huge Goliath groupers, schools of Jacks, a bounty of smaller reef fish and as the name implies, turtles. ,Tortuga Turn actually has a dog leg turn that provides the turtles with a perfect cleaning station. This is an advanced level dive. Come join us. If you can go the distance.
Big John's Locker and Marina Wall are also fast water deep dives. Depths to 118 feet and the currents move you rapidly over an underwater hilly terrain. The ends of the hills have been cut away by the current and coral has attached and grown on the caps. Plate corals, other hard corals and lots of holes for lobsters and moray eels.
Grouper Alley, Ledges, Puente, Cuevas, Cavernas, Cave of the Sleeping Shark, Quad and Mesas are incredible 60 foot dives with swim throughs, holes low profile coral and patch reef that house an incredibly diverse marine environment. Here, you will see everything and I mean everything. Sharks, turtles, huge schools of large fish, schools of smaller colorful tropical reef fish, lobsters and so much more.
Night Dives and Night Snorkeling
We offer night dives on request for a minimum of two divers and night snorkeling with a minimum of 4 snorkelers. Albert's Reef and Cabezas Grande are our favorite night dive sites. Octopi, squid, cuttlefish, splendid toadfish, basket stars, and lobsters are plentiful. This is some of the best night diving ANYWHERE !
Cave and Cavern diving and Instruction (Cenotes)
We offer cenote cavern and full cave courses and tours daily. Come for vacation, stay for the adventure. This is a must dive adventure, The Mayan Riviera is the home to the very best cave and cavern diving in the world.

Our Dive Hours of Operation
Our morning dives (2 tanks) leave promptly at 9:00am each day and our afternoon boat dives (1 tanks) leave at 2:00pm (but we can flexible if you book in advance). We ask that you are at the dive shop thirty minutes prior to departure time, so we may assemble your gear, brief the planned dives and have everyone in the boat for our departure time. Remember that we only take 6 divers max on the Jaguar 2 and the Zebra 2. Each boat has it's own captain and dive master/Instructor. Private dive charters for 2 or more divers is available on request.
