TULUM MAYAN RUIN
COBA MAYAN RUIN
CHICHEN ITZA MAYAN RUIN
The Mayan city built on a cliff, overlooking the beaches of Mexico's Caribbean shoreline.
The Tulum Mayan Ruin is a maze waiting to be solved, a riddle of historic buildings working its way through the landscape and coming to a full stop at the beaches of Tulum. Dating back as early as 564 A.D, Tulum was a walled fortress, with barricades running around 3/4's of its borders as the sea protects its eastern front atop a 12 meter (40 foot) cliff.
The Coba Ruins are located between two lakes in the Mexican state of Quintana Roo, and was once an important Mayan city.
Despite its proximity to the coastal tourist areas of the Riviera Maya, Coba is much less well known than any of the other great Mayan cities. Only a small fraction of the many structures have been excavated and this, together with the remote jungle setting, add to the feeling of being an early discoverer.
Chichen Itza which means “at the mouth of the well of Itza “, is the 2nd most visited archeological site of Mexico today.
The Kukulkan Pyramid in Chichen-Itza which known as “El Castillo” (the castle), is one of the new seven wonders of the world elected in 07.07.2007. It is exactly 24 m. high considering the upper platform. Apart from the Kukulkan Pyramid, in Chichen Itza there many other archaeological sites to visit, all carrying traces from Mayan Culture in many ways.
